Hot Dog Fingers

August 6th, 2009

It really hasn’t been the greatest couple of days. Work is sort of stressing me out lately, and that kind of sucks, but on top of that, I had to close my Etsy store yesterday. I am having bank & Paypal issues, and I really can’t run the shop without Paypal. I am working for a solution, but I have no idea how long it will take to find one, or if there is a good solution at all. This is really sad for me. I have no idea what to do with all the knit stuff I make now. I’m thinking I will have to tone down production actually. Which is honestly for the best because I’m in my early thirties (really early) and I am pretty sure that if I continue at my current pace I’ll have blown out my shoulders, arms, hands and back by the time forty comes around. So I’m really sad, but I’m hopeful. I’m pretty sure things will work out for the best and I’ll bounce back one way or another. Also, to my peeps who are reading this – if there is anything I’ve posted here that you are interested in, let me know. I am selling off stuff for deeply discounted “friend prices”, so hit me up. At this point, I’d like to just make a little coin so I can buy some new yarn on occasion and keep the craft alive.

Last night Mike & I were on the patio, and guess who rolled up? You guessed right – Harold! He came earlier than usual so the lighting was really good, AND he was nomming his carrots in the grass right off the patio, so Mike was able to take some PRIMO Harold photos. Click for larger, you will not be sorry. Behold:

Harold!!Harold!!

Well I’m off, gotta finish up some work and then elliptical, make/eat dinner, and then BOWLING. Wish me luck.
